One bite of Crepe Suzette will take you to spring France on a sun-drenched lawn. Rich in protein, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, sesame seeds in combination with sweet honey will remain in the memory of a warm memory, and the heart will become a little healthier in the meantime.
Quick-cooking oats
50 g (½ cup)
Egg white
110 g (2 pieces)
Reduced fat 2% milk
50 g (⅕ cup)
Sour cream 10%
10 g (1½ tbsp)
Sesame seeds
3 g (0.3 tsp)
Honey
15 g (½ tsp)
Olive oil
3 g (⅕ tsp)
Orange
150 g (1 pieces)
Salt, Cinnamon
Please follow the next steps:
1
Combine oatmeal in a bowl (you can grind it in a blender or leave it whole – as you wish), eggs, milk, sour cream, sesame seeds, and half the specified amount of honey, salt to taste.
2
Whisk everything well and pour the mixture into a preheated skillet with vegetable oil. After about 2 minutes, turn the pancake over and cook for another 2-3 minutes (until tender).
3
At this time, prepare some orange sauce: peel and cut an orange into small cubes and place in a small saucepan or frying pan; put on low or medium heat, add the remaining honey, cinnamon to taste (you can also add a little water if you wish), stir and cook with the lid closed for about 5 minutes.
4
Place the finished Crepe Suzette on a plate and the orange sauce over it. Enjoy your meal!
Do not mix honey in boiling water, and do not cook it at high temperatures. Doing any of the acts mentioned will result in loss of nutrients because of the improper heat applied to honey.
Use spray cooking oil when you fry food. This will help you to use less oil for cooking.
