Asparagus is an ideal product for those who want to lose weight. Thanks to the fiber in its composition, it has a positive effect on the digestive system and defeats the feeling of hunger for a long time. Steaming asparagus is the best way to preserve its texture and flavor!
Asparagus
250 g (1½ cup)
Water
400 g (2 cup)
Salt, Olive oil, Lemon
Please follow the next steps:

Wash and cut the asparagus. Then use a vegetable peeler to remove the skin from the asparagus.

Now take the asparagus by the ends and bend it. Throw away the hard part.

Take a steamer. Fill a large pot of 2.5 cm water and place a steamer grid on top. The bottom of the net must not touch the water.

Place the asparagus in a saucepan and cover with a lid. Place the steamer on the stove if you haven't already.

Cook the asparagus over medium heat until it turns a bright green color.

Remove the lid and check the asparagus for doneness. Remove the asparagus from the pot, place on a serving platter and serve hot.
Thin asparagus is ready in 3-5 minutes. The cooking process for thick asparagus takes 6 to 8 minutes.
When rinsing your asparagus, pay particular attention to the ends where dirt and grit accumulate the most.
