This diet was invented by two nutritionists, Aidan Goggins and Glen Matten, from the United Kingdom. Men studied sirtuins, a group of seven proteins in our body that can boost metabolism. According to the Sirtfood diet, you have to eat only products with a high level of sirtuins to increase their intake, provoke a fat-burning process in your body, and even get anti-aging properties.

The Sirtfood diet is not for the faint-hearted because it has a lot of strict restrictions. You can eat only 1000 calories daily for the first three days: two glasses of green juice and one meal. For the rest of the week, a person on a diet can consume 1500 calories daily. But the fans of this diet say these severe limits allow you to lose about 3 kilos in one week.

Here is a food list that you can consume: kale, Medjool dates, apples, strawberries, blueberries, buckwheat, capers, citrus fruits, olive oil, walnuts, green tea, red onion, soy, arugula, parsley, and - surprise! - red wine and dark chocolate.

One more champion in losing weight is the Australian actress Rebel Wilson. For one year, she slimmed down to 35 kilos. How? Here are the answers.

2020 was a "Year of Health" for Rebel Wilson. Her motivation started with a desire to be a mother. To gain these goals, Rebel chose the Mayr method diet. The main principle of this approach is related to a healthy gut system and foods that help to massage digestive systems.

There are some restrictions for Mayr Method dieters:

  • No alcohol and coffee.
  • Exclude sugar and sugar-containing foods from the diet.
  • Stop snacking.
  • Reduce dairy consumption.
  • No gluten and processed food.
  • Don't eat raw foods after 4 p.m.

In general, the Mayr diet is designed for two weeks. Basic principles: consume more vegetables and drink more water. There is another important rule on this diet: eat without your phone, tv, YouTube videos, or Netflix series. You have to be concentrated on the food to get a feeling of satiety faster.

Here is a list of food that you can eat:

  • Meat and fish: turkey breast, beef filet, lamb loin, smoked salmon, trout filet, smoked trout.
  • Dairy: oat milk, rice milk, eggs, butter, sour cream, Parmesan, cottage cheese.
  • Vegetables: tomatoes, onions, carrots, potatoes, broccoli, spinach, lettuce, celery, chickpeas, sprouts, radishes, fennel, olives.
  • Fruits: bananas, apricots, oranges, lemons, pomegranates, apples, berries, prunes, mangoes, and avocados.
  • Grains: cornflakes, ground oats, polenta, risotto rice.
  • Nuts: almonds, walnuts.

You have to eat in small portions. During the day, you can drink pure water, green tea, or pomegranate juice.

  • No blue light before bedtime. It means no smartphones or tv 1 hour before you sleep.
  • Sleep at least 7 hours every day.
  • Everyday walking. In the beginning, Jessica made 6,000 steps per day; then, she increased the rate to 14,000 per day.
  • Exercise three times a week.
  • Food, divided into three meals a day.
  • No alcohol and meat.

Pasternak's body reset diet is scheduled for 15 days and has 3 phases, each lasting five days:

  • During the first phase, a dieter replaces all the meals with colored smoothies.
  • The second phase allows the intake of one solid food dish like salad.
  • In the third phase, a dieter can eat two solid meals and drink one smoothie daily. To fix the result, you have to follow the final stage for an additional ten days.

Drew Barrymore

The lifestyle of Drew Barrymore is not about slimming; it is about healthy foods and conscious consumption. A 47-years actress and talk show host knows everything about plant-based diet: she was raised vegetarian, and when she turned 26, Drew decided to become a vegan.
