  • Sesame oil

    40 g (0.3 cup)

  • Onions

  • Basil

    10 g (½ cup)

  • Red pepper powder

    2 g (1 tsp)

  • Garlic

    3 g (1 tsp)

  • Ginger

  • Lime

    25 g (0.3 pieces)

  • Gochugaru

    3 g (¼ tbsp)

  • Cucumber

    200 g (2 pieces)

How to make

Please follow the next steps:

    Cut the cucumbers crosswise into halves. Then sprinkle salt all over the cucumber pieces. Let them "rest" for about 25 minutes.

    Thinly slice the onion and carrots.

    Then mince garlic with ginger.

    Grate lime zest. Chop fresh basil.

    Drain the cucumbers well to remove all water left.

    Toss the cucumbers with all ingredients in a large bowl, adding gochugaru. Let it stand for 2 hours at room temperature.

    Season the kimchi with red pepper powder, soy sauce or sesame oil, and sesame seeds. Serve with joy and love!
