Such a light dish is ideal when preparing a light, healthy meal. If you prefer your zucchini baked until crispy, slice it thinner and bake longer. Use parmesan, which does not melt but keeps its shape, turning into a fragrant baked crust (if desired, take any other cheese). Also, you can add salt to taste and put spices in breadcrumbs.

Here are a few tips to make your snack the most mouthwatering:

  • For best results, it's best to bread zucchini sticks in two batches so the crumbs don't stick together.
  • To make zucchini sticks milkier, replace the parmesan with more breadcrumbs.
  • To make them gluten-free, replace the breadcrumbs with gluten-free ones.

Serve this dish with any sauce, but we advise you to make a sour cream sauce with greens. It turns out to be incredible!

Essential ingredients

  • Parmesan (grated)

    100 g (1 cup)

  • Breadcrumbs

    75 g (5 tsp)

  • Egg white

    50 g (1 pieces)

  • Zucchini

    300 g (1 pieces)

Olive oil, Salt, Black pepper, Sourcream, Parsley

How to make

Please follow the next steps:

    Sprinkle a large frying pan with oil. Heat the oil over medium heat to a deep-fry thermometer register of 350 degrees F.

    Stir in Parmesan, the panko, and salt in a medium bowl. Then blend them. Whisk the eggs in another bowl to blend.

    In batches, dip the zucchini in the eggs to coat thoroughly and allow the excess egg to drip back into the bowl.

    Thoroughly coat the zucchini in the panko mixture. Arrange the zucchini strips on a baking sheet.

    Wait for the oil to be hot, then fry the zucchini sticks for about 3 minutes or until golden brown.

    Take a slotted spoon to transfer the fried zucchini to drain on the paper towels.
