We want to remind you why pasta is a good ingredient in a weight loss plan:
☝️ One study shows that people who ate pasta as part of a Mediterranean diet had a lower body mass index (BMI) than those who didn't. It measures your body fat based on your height and weight.
💁♀️ You can serve it as a starter, a side dish, or the primary occasion. So, catch a renewed penne pasta recipe with inexpensive and simple ingredients. Lose weight without breaking the bank!
Penne pasta
200 g (1½ cup)
Butter 82.5%
5 g (1 tbsp)
Garlic
3 g (1 tsp)
Cream cheese Philadelphia light
50 g
Chicken breast
100 g
Broccoli
50 g (½ cup)
Olive oil
5 g (1 tsp)
Salt, Black pepper, Basil
Please follow the next steps:
1
Get a medium pot with water to a boil on medium heat.
2
Add penne pasta and cook according to package directions. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
3
Dry chicken breasts until completely dry. Heat oil in a large skillet. Add chicken—season with salt and black pepper. Sear until golden brown. 8 minutes is enough for each side.
4
Slice the chicken into small strips, transfer onto a plate, and cover with foil to stay juicy.
5
Put garlic and butter in the same skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute. Add cream cheese and bring the sauce to a simmer over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until the desired consistency. Stir occasionally—season with salt and pepper to taste.
6
Put the chicken and pasta in the skillet. Toss well to coat. Garnish with basil or provence herbs and serve immediately.
Use fresh vegetables for your dish instead of frozen ones. They have more vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, which can improve health and more effectively help to lose weight.
If there is no cream cheese on hand, replace it with a parmesan or blue one. These kinds are also suitable for the weight loss menu.
