There are different types of rice noodles, so if you want to cook them most deliciously, follow the directions on the package. Usually, you'll need to soak your rice noodles in cold water for about 10 minutes until they're nice and soft. Be sure to drain well!
Or cook them in boiling water, then rinse them in cold water to remove the surface starch. Once you finish rinsing, toss noodles in a bowl with just a tiny amount of oil to prevent further sticking. Toss them every five minutes until you're ready to use them!
You can serve them hot or cold and make them spicy or savory.
Rice noodles are a neutral base that takes on whatever flavors inspire you. In our case, these are juicy carrots, bell pepper, and fresh, flavorful parsley. Grab the chopsticks because you'll want to chow down these 15 rice noodle recipes until every last noodle is gone.
