Ukrainian syrnyky is an incredibly cozy dish that evokes the most pleasant associations. Ukrainians adore this dessert. The main ingredient is packed with nutrients, especially protein, that help increase feelings of fullness during the day. Besides, you intake more vitamins during the meal if you flavor these round slices with raisins and dried or fresh fruit.
Well, simple things sometimes become much more complicated than they seem. The same story is with syrnyky. Of course, this dessert is so familiar to experienced homemakers that it is not worth discussing. But, as it turned out, making delicious sirniki is not so easy, and many have difficulty. So, we decided to correct this state of affairs and want to share with you a simple recipe that always works perfectly! Serve tender syrnyky with honey, condensed milk, jam, or sprinkled with powdered sugar.
Cottage cheese
350 g (1½ cup)
Eggs
55 g (1 pieces)
Sugar
40 g (3 cup)
Vanilla sugar
5 g (1 tsp)
Flour
40 g (2 cup)
Sunflower oil
5 g (1 tsp)
Salt, Honey, Jam, Dried apricots, Dark chocolate, Fresh mint, Sour cream 10%, Condensed milk
Please follow the next steps:
1
Transfer the cheese to a deep bowl and knead with a fork. Add one chicken egg to the mass.
2
In a bowl with cheese, add a pinch of salt and sugar. Mix everything well with an ordinary fork or spoon. You can also use a kitchen spatula.
3
Put two tablespoons of flour. Once again, mix everything well.
4
Add vanilla sugar to the cheese dough and mix well again.
5
Sprinkle your hands with flour. Gather a little cheese dough in hand, lower it into a bowl with flour and sprinkle on all sides. Make a ball out of cheese dough. Generously sprinkle it with flour and press a little on top, giving the cheesecake a flat shape.
6
Fry the cheesecakes in oil for 3-4 minutes on each side. As soon as a ruddy crust appears on them, you can turn to the other side.
7
Serve ready-made cheesecakes with jam, sour cream, fresh berries, or jam. Bon appetit!
Buy a non-stick pan so you can use no-to-less oil for cooking.
If you've cooked a large batch of highly palatable foods (like sirniki), take your serving for today and tomorrow and put the rest in the freezer.
